We believe that in order to make a difference in the world,
we must first begin with the communities we work and live in.

Throughout the years, Coiffeur Inga’ Salon has been committed to giving back to the community and supporting charitable causes.

Education for Life – We are ambassadors of this life-changing program, designed to pull young people out of the slums of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and provide training and skills — free from crime and drugs.

Locks of Love and Beautiful Lengths- We offer complimentary haircuts for people who participate in hair donations, and invite you to make your appointment for this service Monday-Thursday only, and will even mail the hair in for you.

The American Cancer Society and Mary Anne and Friends - In support of both organizations we offer complimentary hair and wig treatment for those who are undergoing Canver treatment. It is our goal provide a safe and supportive environment for this task.

The AIDS Institute - For a few years now we have been helping to support The AIDS Institute. This past year we raised over $2,500 for the Tampa Bay Red Ribbon Run which we run in honor of Scott Carter. We look forward to making it an annual event. We also belong the Hairdressers Against AIDS & hope that our continued efforts help to end the fight against AIDS.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation- Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond. Many efforts are made in helping to find a cure for CF. One that we are proud to be a sponsor of is the Ybor Experience an annual event that has raised almost $60,000 in the past 3 years!

We offer additional support to  by organizing and participating in Cut-a-thons and walks, gift certificate give-aways, silent auctions, fashion shows, and other fund-raising activities.
